Fashion Trends Seen On Spring 2021 Runways

Spring/Summer 2021 is already here and a new world of possibilities comes with it. While we all try to adapt to the moment we are living in, so are designers adapting to new fashion trends and ideas. From statement coats to oversized denim, khaki pants to elegant bralettes, or even monochromatic looks versus a bright flower pattern. The chances you find something you like are very high.

Step into 2021 in the most trendy way! Keep on scrolling to find our favorite fashion trends of 2021, and start thinking on what you want to invest.

Monochrome Power

We start off with a unique look, that we have been seeing for some time. Monochromatic pieces have been in our closets for some time, and this season they will continue to be a trend. Most designers preferred the colors black and white together, as an elevated way to show off their pieces. While Chanel went for a white bralette and black skirt, Prada and Ports 1961 showed off black and white dresses that will look amazing for an evening occasion.

Flawless Bralette

We are extremely excited about this one! Brace yourselves. And don’t freak out. The bralette is back, and the trend is so fierce, it may never go way. We’ve seen on every runway, in every color and print, paired with so many different outfits. Whether in a minimalistic look or covered in rhinestones, the bralette brings us a touch of beach days and the desire to start working out for the summer.

Rising Hemlines

The midi dress has been our accomplice for the past seasons, and don’t get us wrong, we are still wearing for many seasons to come. In spite of that, we have seen an increasing focus on the feminine form with rising hemlines in most collections. The celebration of the female body comes in many forms, not only rising hemlines. The bodycon and cut-outs are back in town, and most runways showed them off in a very modern way. And you don’t necessarily need to go for mini dresses. There’s the micro skirt, short shorts and mini jumpsuits!

Flower Essence

Who doesn’t love flowers? Bright and beautiful colors, silky textures, and the wonderful smell. Designer brands love them too, and fashion trends 2021 are full of this pattern. The past trends might have been pastel colors and toned down flowers, but 2021 comes blazing with bright colors and bold patterns. Some of our favorites were among the collections of Christian Dior, Dolce & Gabbana and Carolina Herrera.

Cool Khakis

The previously boring khaki, reserved for high school boys and suburban dads, is having its fashion moment right now. It comes in all shapes and forms (we love oversized versions of every piece), and crop tops, elegant knits and blazers are our current favorites. This color has been elevated in every runway and we can’t wait to start wearing it!

Light Fabrics

Last but not least, we’ve spotted the most floating and delicate fabrics in many collections. Light and sheer fabrics can elevate your look when layered with other pieces, or even standing alone, creating a great isolated look. While Fendi and Lanvin came in with romantic colors, others like Balmain decided on darker colors for an edgier attitude.
