It’s time to share our story.

During our years working in the textile industry, at Portugal Textile, our team acquired a huge know-how of the market, as well as a large network of manufacturers in Portugal.

Working in this industry since 1999 and helping international fashion brands placing their shoe productions at the right factories in Portugal, Paulo Silva, the founder identified a lack in the fashion market. So, in 2007 he created Portugal Textile, a sustainable clothing development and manufacturer agency that helps influencers & fashion brands producing in Portugal.

Paulo understood that the brands needed one place where they can find reliability, personalized attention, and quality. A service that could handle everything from the concept phase to the production, giving importance to every detail.

Our Journey

In 1999 Paulo Silva, created Portugal Shoes, a business from Absolutarget group. The company’s headquarters are based in Felgueiras, a small town near Porto in the north of Portugal, worldwide recognized as the heart of top-quality shoemaking. There, we have been working on the “behind the scenes” for many well-known international fashion brands for more than 20 years.

Paulo Silva later recognized the importance of expanding the company’s offerings to include textile products and shoes in order to better serve our clients. For this reason, Paulo Silva created Portugal Textile in 2007, a specialized clothing manufacturing agency focused on helping you in all development and production process.

How can I work with you?

To begin working with us, you just need to contact us, sending your request about the project through this form or email. You send us your tech packs as well as the quantities per style color, price targets and deadline of the collection. Then, our commercial department will analyze the project to understand your vision, what the brand is looking for and how we can fulfill all your needs.

How can I do a tech pack and submit it for you?

A Tech Pack is a framework for sharing your ideas in a structured way. Tech Packs are illustrated designs and specifications of your garment design. A Tech Pack is often required to obtain a quote from a manufacturer or agency, and to ensure that people understand how to make your design and its specifications.

Note: If you don't have a tech pack, you can always send us physical samples from similar styles for what you want to produce.

What are your minimum order quantities?

What is your production lead times?

The project timeline is dependent on your specific needs. Send us your project at info@portugaltextilecom or at www.portugaltextile.com/create-your-collection.

What types of materials are you able to source?

We can source all type of materials for textile development, sustainable materials included, for examples: organic cotton, EcoVero, Tencel, cactus leather, grape leather, etc. See here some of the innovative options.

Do you do the quality control?

Yes! We have an internal team dedicated to the quality control of all the stages of the process. Every material is inspected before and after any procedure. Our quality controller team will measure, check flaws, test quality, functionality, comfort, durability, and any other important detail for you.

How do you take care of the packaging?

We provide sustainable, recycled, and biodegradable custom labels, tags, packaging and accessories to create a fully branded product. You should send us your requirements (size, material, colors, etc.) and artworks, and we will make it happen.

How do you take care of transport/delivery of the collection?

We work with several transport companies with land, air, and sea shipments, in order to send the collection to any destination in the world. For each place we have references to provide you the best solutions.
